MINSK, 8 June (BelTA) – Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko sent greetings to participants and guests of the 14th National Culture Festival, BelTA has learned from the Belarusian leader’s press service.
“This spectacular event has become an integral part of the cultural life of our country,” the message read. “Thanks to such an innovative international project, we have a unique opportunity to see a collective of talents representing different ethnicities and religions living in peace and harmony on Belarusian soil.”
According to the president, the festival is further proof that Belarus has always been open to people of goodwill.
The Head of State noted that the event is symbolic as it takes place in an important year – the 80th anniversary of Belarus’ liberation from Nazi invaders.
