Like many others during the coronavirus shutdown, Stephanie Clegg started to feel like something was missing from her life.
Clegg and her family had just moved to Coronado from downtown San Diego a few months before the word “pandemic” entered our common vocabulary. “We were living in his two-bedroom condo downtown and decided it was time to make the long journey across the bridge and never looked back,” Clegg told me. “Coronado is the best place on earth, and it is an honor and honor to call it home.”
Although Clegg had always been very healthy, eating clean, doing yoga, and dabbling in meditation and spirituality, he knew there was still something big missing from the equation. “My journey into wellness began after I began doing some deep inner work,” Clegg explained. “I booked a trip to the wellness hotel Miraval with my friend Lara and I can say that when things started moving again, it attracted me…Meditation, sound healing, breathing techniques, and mindfulness , it calms your nervous system in a way you haven’t experienced before.”
This trip marked the beginning of a new journey for Clegg as he began discovering all the best locations for these treatments throughout San Diego. She found herself inspired by these spaces and the people in them, and quickly realized the mental and emotional consequences they had. “The more I go inward, the more I learn about myself, and that’s what drives me…I believe we all have talents to share with the world. “When we truly live our most authentic lives, we are better able to help each other,” she pointed out. “The more we understand ourselves, the more we understand others, and we believe this has the power to change the world. One person at a time. Ripple after ripple.”
Feeling refreshed and motivated, Clegg began looking for ways to share this newfound world with others. “I started teaching children and adult classes throughout San Diego,” she explained. “But, as any real coronavirus patient will attest, she wished she hadn’t had to cross that bridge and began hosting events at her home for her friends.”
Although Clegg loved helping her friends through these home classes, she wanted to reach more people and spread this healing work throughout the community. “I always wanted to pass on the magic that I experienced to others. So I started making it happen, dreaming it and believing that it would happen. All the cards When it fell into place, it was ready and the space was free.”
Thus, Monarch Soul was born. Monarch Soul is a mediation and wellness studio founded by Clegg here in Coronado. “Think of a yoga studio, but with a focus on the inner work that meditation accesses,” Clegg explained of the concept behind the studio. “Aside from meditation classes, we offer a variety of workshops and special events, all designed to help you explore yourself deeper and align with your most vibrant self. There will be sound baths, women’s circles, breathing exercises, art meditation, astrology, children’s classes, personal growth workshops, and more, all of which will evolve as the community develops.”
Monarch Soul officially opens on May 1st, and Clegg hopes to receive feedback from the community and build additional classes based on what people want. “We’re so excited. We’ll also be opening up the space to local healers, therapists, and coaches who want to host classes and workshops,” she added.
Mr Clegg once again referred to the power of “ripple effects” and said he truly believed this space would be a positive and potentially life-changing addition for many coronavirus residents. “Meditation is a positive and beautiful thing. If I can touch one person’s life, I think they can do the same. Then there will be a ripple effect… In this fast-paced world we… The slower we go, the better and more loving we can be. I want to foster a supportive community of people who believe in the magic of life.”
This studio is designed for children, adults, families, seniors, and everyone in between. Even if you’re new to these types of habits, Craig can help you slowly incorporate them into your daily life to create the life of your dreams. “Monarch Soul is a dream come true. We want everyone who walks through our doors to know that they, too, can achieve their dreams.”
Monarch Soul opens May 1 at 1123 10th Street. Once the studio flow stabilizes, a community launch party will be held in June. For more information, please see our event calendar or contact the studio directly at www.eventbrite.com/o/the-monarch-soul-60597704283.
“I hope everyone will experience love and growth at The Monarch Soul.”
