Issue: Miranda Devine’s column about the mainstream media’s cover-up of President Biden’s cognitive decline.
Refreshingly, Miranda Devine presents the facts about President Biden’s rapid cognitive decline without equivocation (“The Media Has Seen It for Years!”, Miranda Devine, Post Opinion, July 4).
Kudos to her and to The Washington Post. In contrast, various other news outlets have provided biased political coverage on matters relating to the Democratic Party in general and President Biden in particular.
False reporting and non-disclosure are a clear and imminent danger to our national security and may amount to treason.

The Democrats are liars and have been covering for Biden since he took office.
The only person who thinks Joe Biden can handle the job of president is himself. We all know he can’t, yet Democratic Party leaders continue to insist that Biden is fit to be president. This is an insult to the American people.

This article focuses on a point that has been made repeatedly by the right.
The mainstream media and their Democratic Party stooges have turned a blind eye to Biden’s weakness in his attempt to mislead the American people.
First we were told he had a stutter. Then we saw him fall off his bike, climb stairs, fall on stage. Long before this debate, he had gotten lost during speeches, shook his hands in the air and had to be escorted off the stage.
Spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre accused the media of creating a “cheap fake” — these are the same con artists who concocted the Russia hoax, lied about the laptop, and fought so hard to stop the release of Robert Hur’s audio. It’s time to wake up, America.

I love “Sleepy” Joe and I don’t want to see this plastic sycophant, cafeteria Catholic, granddaughter-denying, drug addict-facilitating, money-greedy, hypocritical con man go.
Every day that President Biden is in office and the Democrats and their media allies gaslight us is another day showing just how corrupt, duplicitous and evil these people are.

For more than three years, we have witnessed the Biden Presidency’s steep decline.
And yet the fake media didn’t say a word. They were all rooting for Biden and the Democrats. The journalists were not.
And as Miranda Devine notably points out, Carl Bernstein, who did such a great job on Watergate, finally spoke up and said, “That’s at least 15 times in 18 months that Joe didn’t work.” The fact that it took Bernstein this long to speak up means that he’s clearly not the reporter he used to be.
The entire liberal media establishment is failing its cult following. Next time, pick up a copy of The Washington Post and get the facts before you get sucked in by the liberal media.

I think we have reached a stage where we should not criticize the mainstream media for its biased reporting, as doing so means being disappointed when the mainstream media fails to live up to our expectations of impartiality, honesty and fairness.
The sad truth is that the mainstream media abandoned any pretense of such journalistic integrity years ago. They are a monolithic left that has no shame in gaslighting the American people at every opportunity if it serves their purposes. If you’re fooled by the media once, shame on them. If you’re fooled twice, shame on you.

The media has always been powerful, and remains so. They are now attacking President Biden for his dismal performance in the recent debates and his worsening dementia.
This is the media that has always made excuses or refused to air his erratic behavior. This is the media that has not blamed the president for his lack of press conferences.
And the media who saw the physical and mental decline of the leader of the free world and chose to keep the American people in the dark.
