Jacqueline Fernandez has been a member of the healthy and fashionable club for a long time. On Saturday, she kick-started her healthy weekend by doing pilates. In a video shared on Instagram by Jacqueline’s trainer Yasmin Karachiwala, the actress was seen going through a tough workout “sweating and smiling all the way”. Her fitness coach too couldn’t help but praise Jacqueline for showing such grit and energy. She did full-body exercises and stretching variations on the reformer. Her physically demanding workout included leg extensions, incline push-ups, hamstring stretches, child’s pose, triceps and back training exercises, and shoulder workouts. Throughout the aerobics, Jacqueline showed off her flexibility and strength, motivating us to hit the gym soon. Pilates is a low-impact exercise that increases muscle control and strength, improves balance and increases flexibility. It also tones the core muscles.

Apart from Pilates, Jacqueline Fernandez is also fond of yoga and occasionally takes up a little challenge. Earlier, the actress shared a picture on Instagram where she tested her sense of balance with aerial yoga. Dressed in a white bodysuit and see-through stockings, she hung upside down from a hammock strapped to the ceiling. Jacqueline balanced her body on the fabric, bending her legs around it and placing her hands near her face. Aerial yoga is a type of hybrid asana that burns calories, improves blood circulation, strengthens the core, increases flexibility and aids digestion.
Pole workouts are easier said than done, but for Jacqueline Fernandez, the intense exercise doesn’t seem like a big deal. In an Instagram post, the actress can be seen balancing on a pole while hanging upside down. She wraps her legs around the pole for support and supports her knees with her hands. Pole exercise is a form of full-body workout that improves balance, core strength, and flexibility. It also helps burn calories.
