Vacations, camping, and summer gatherings are just around the corner, and Walmart wants to make everyone’s health a priority. To help, Walmart will host a Wellness Day at Walmart stores across Middle Tennessee, including stores in Williamson County, on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Customers can receive free health checkups, including blood sugar, cholesterol, BMI, and blood pressure, as well as affordable vaccinations against COVID-19, shingles, tetanus, measles, and more at pharmacies nationwide. . We also carry a wide selection of products, from allergy relief options to vitamins and more.
Walmart Wellness Day encourages families to take charge of their health by providing tools and resources to seek care, improve a healthy lifestyle and maintain successful habits.
Approximately 4,600 Walmart pharmacies nationwide will host Walmart Wellness Day events. Select stores will offer vision screenings, in-store giveaways and wellness product demos to give customers even more access to the professional services they need.
The Walmart Wellness Day event will feature the following medical resources managed by our qualified pharmacy and vision center teams:
- Free health checkups including blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure, BMI, and vision tests (in select locations)
- Affordable vaccinations including coronavirus, measles, mumps, pneumonia, tetanus, HPV, rubella (MMR), varicella (varicella/shingles), pertussis (TDAP), hepatitis A, hepatitis B, and more. offer
- Health resources and opportunities to speak with a pharmacist

Since 2014, Walmart Pharmacy has hosted Walmart Wellness Day and provided more than 5 million free health screenings for customers. More than 4,000 Walmart stores are located in areas with a shortage of medical professionals, which means Walmart is often the first point of contact for health care in these areas.
