ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Culver Road Armory’s newest expansion is nearly full. Last month, News 8 learned the following about Tennant.
Lumos is relocating from its current Armory space to this new space for more space, and Craig Cairns, president of Howe & Rusling, credits the company’s success in relocating the space. It said in a statement that it was able to do so.
Meanwhile, Evolution Pilates is located in Pittsford Village’s Northfield Common development and plans to open a second store in the Armory.
Founder and owner Michelle Pritchard said Monday that the business is expanding because it’s “bursting at the seams.”
She has been in business for 15 years. She started her business after earning a master’s degree in dance.
This new 3,400 square foot armory space will allow her to open two additional Pilates studios, giving clients from all over the world the opportunity to take classes with her or her 18 instructors.
“Pilates is for everyone, whether you love exercise or hate it, whether you’re in pain or in the prime of your life,” Pritchard says. “I think we do a really great job of understanding what your fitness goals are and how we can best help you achieve them.”
Evolution Pilates plans to open the Armory in May. Pritchard plans to staff the new space with two physical therapists and two massage therapists.
