Stefon Diggs learned the hard way that Pilates is much more than just stretching.
The new Texans wide receiver was photographed falling off a Pilates machine while working out with free agent running back Leonard Fournette, but fellow Houston pass-catching buddy Tank Dell had a lot of fun with the video clip.
“Dude, stick your ass in @stephondiggs,” Dell posted to his Instagram Story with three laughing emojis.
Diggs may have needed a little humility in his training.
“‘It’s not that hard, FR,'” Pilates instructor Stefania Uche Okolie wrote on her Instagram Story alongside a video of Diggs and Fournette working out. “My camera roll determined that statement was false.”
Fournette appears to back up his claims.
“We needed the Virgin Mary, the Holy Child and the Holy Spirit,” he wrote.
Diggs is preparing for a monumental season, his first with the Texans since being traded from the Bills in April.
The 30-year-old started the 2023 season, his fourth year with the Bills, strong, leading the league in receptions, but his performance declined after the Bills fired offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey and promoted quarterback coach Joe Brady.
The team bounced back, averaging 27 points per game and winning six of seven games late in the season, but missed out on another Super Bowl appearance after a heartbreaking 27-10 loss to the 2024 champion Chiefs in the divisional round in January.
Diggs had 1,183 yards on 107 receptions with eight touchdowns.
Houston also advanced to the AFC Divisional Round in the 2024 NFL Playoffs, but a 34-10 loss to the Ravens ended their postseason journey.
Despite the loss, the team had a strong 2023 season, winning 11 games to record their first winning season since 2019.
Much of Houston’s optimism is due to quarterback C.J. Stround and Dell, who set franchise rookie records with 709 yards receiving and seven touchdown receptions last season before his season ended with a broken fibula in December.
With the addition of Diggs, along with Stroud, Dell, breakout receiver Nico Collins and free agent running back Joe Mixon, expectations for the Texans have never been higher.
The team will open the preseason on Aug. 1 against the Bears.
