In this episode The Real Housewives of Dubai, Stanbury and Sergio They are finally ready to move into their new home, and a party is thrown to celebrate the occasion, but Sergio is depressed after Stanberry’s hypnotherapy session. TaleenThe matchmaking efforts of are inadequate, as is the possibility of trying to work out what went wrong with the Carolines. Brooks Even after sitting down to talk, it’s unclear how far their friendship has gone…
Stanbery and Sergio seem to be hanging out at her friend’s house too long. Michael’s Home. They moved into Michael’s house while their new home was being built, but what was meant to be a few weeks turned into…way too long. Finally, Sergio and Stanberry are set to move into their new home by next weekend, so naturally Michael is throwing a GTFO party for them to celebrate the milestone of getting their house back for good.
Stanbury chats briefly with Sergio in her messy room, where she remarks that the Brooks situation is a real mess, and mutters, “I don’t know what she’s thinking.” [Brooks] She is concerned about “what she is drinking…” but there is something else that is causing this change in behavior.
On a side note, Stanberry is trying out hypnotherapy as she doesn’t really like traditional therapy. If this hypnotherapist is suitable for Princess Diana, Stanberry is willing to give her a try. The main problem Stanberry wants to solve is micromanaging Sergio. We learn that Stanberry went to boarding school from age 6 to 18, which made her a control freak. She seems to treat Sergio like a child because of how she was treated when she was younger. Through hypnotherapy, Stanberry learns about the damage that micromanaging can do to a relationship and she genuinely doesn’t want to be Sergio’s mother.
Sergio overhears part of the session and becomes upset, not liking how Stanbury has withdrawn a little and feels invisible to her.
Brooks, Resaand Tareen meets for drinks and discusses the party the night before which Letha missed because her mother went back to Dubai. Apparently Brooks had been drinking heavily and doesn’t remember calling Stanberry a “bastard.” Kudos to the Bravo camera for capturing the moment when Brooks said that about Stanberry. Letha wonders what everyone is thinking. What’s going on with Caroline’s family? Brooks claims to have sided with Tareen on “the whole cartwheel incident,” but Tareen is over it, so what’s her problem now?
There’s clearly a lot more going on, and Brooks is caught in a vicious circle because he “can’t handle both sides anymore.” Brooks says he’ll talk to Stanbury after his farewell party, and clarifies that Stanbury is not a bad guy, but teeth Bastard.
Sergio and Stanberry’s farewell party (aka “goodbye party”) is underway. Sara Entering with her friends Saba and Sabotage, Sergio celebrates with the guests while Stanberry gets ready. Sara takes Sergio aside and he confides in her about the hypnotherapist. He is upset and feels Stanberry doesn’t always see him through, and Sara promises to tell him more about it later.
Ayan He appears as a real disco ball, and Saba looks on in awe of the exaggerated appearance. Speaking of looks, Stanberry makes an appearance after much ado. Ayan tells Tareen that she has a better time talking without Brooks and that she needs earplugs when Brooks talks. As Stanberry speaks, her breasts are on full display, which tickles Tareen, knowing that Stanberry was the one who kept going on and on about seeing Tareen’s pussy. Boobs for boobs, so to speak.
Brooks will not be attending the party. Uninvited Stanberry justifies this by telling the group that Brooks had said he would be CU the following Tuesday. Stanberry called Brooks a few hours before this “eviction party” to uninvite him, but Brooks claims he doesn’t care. Tareen is appalled, as are the other women. Sarah reminds Stanberry that it’s no big deal and that Brooks was just drunk, but Stanberry isn’t hearing it. The girls are confused as to what happened to the Carolines.
Letha comes in and lets everyone know that Brooks is the common denominator in this drama and that she is not responsible. Meanwhile, Stanberry’s daughter tells Sergio that he is persistent and follows Stanberry around “like a lost puppy”, which doesn’t make Sergio feel any better at the moment…Michael celebrates getting Sergio and Stanberry out of the house, Sergio gets pushed into the pool and the party is a huge success.
Later, as Sarah prepares for a double date that Tareen has set up — she refuses to call it a date — she explains the situation to her son, who, while getting a massage, reminds his mother that too many men have been nasty to her and that she’s now a bit overprotective.
Letha and her mother bond while shopping in Old Dubai. Over lunch, they discuss Caroline Beef and the conversation turns to her big move to Dubai. Her mother wonders when Letha will “come home,” but Letha reminds her that she can retire. This will be difficult, as her mother has worked hard to become financially independent since her husband led a double life. Her mother is also worried that things are starting to fall apart in their marriage, so she is going to consider making the big move.
Tareen is excited about the double date and thinks the Armenians are behind it all, trying to frame Sarah. The date doesn’t go well… he doesn’t believe in aliens and it’s dangerous to date a woman with kids. and He’s a Libra. Nope, not her type. Thanks, next.
Stanbury goes to see Brooks, but he is late. It is clear she is trying to say something. After waiting 26 minutes, Brooks comes in. Stanbury points out that she is late, and Brooks, of course, blames it on her new business. Stanbury reminds her that everyone has something going on. There is a bit of awkwardness, but soon they are talking about unresolved issues.
Brooks claims that comments Stanbury made about Tareen made her feel bad and Stanbury made it seem much worse than it actually was. Stanbury believes Brooks is jealous of her new friendships and that she no longer needs to be saved. Brooks says Stanbury broke off her friendship with Ayan and Resa because he was upset with them, but now Stanbury is friends with them. This seems like a pretty typical jealousy situation. According to Stanbury, Brooks doesn’t take responsibility for her actions, with Brooks arguing that Stanbury “comes from an English farm family. You’re not Princess Diana. Be humble.” Though they both agree there is work to be done, the relationship is still fragile.
