Spiritual Cramp and White Reaper have released a two-song 7-inch split via Blue Grape Music. Today you can hear Spiritual Crump’s contribution featuring White Reaper on “Whatever You Say Man,” an evocative and eerie introspection about the ups and downs of the mental state. Mike Bingham of Spiritual Clamp says:
“This is a funny song for me. I guess I should start this blurb with a disclaimer that I’m not usually depressed. But some days, I just start writing the lyrics for the song.” Some days I wake up and see all the beauty in the world and am moved to tears and filled with gratitude.Some days I wish I had never woken up to this song. It’s about what it feels like to wake up on the other side.”
Spiritual Clamp will be supporting White Reaper on several dates in support of 7” starting June 17th in Boston. It will also land in Brooklyn, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. These tickets will go on sale tomorrow (4/19) at 10am local time. The dates fall in the middle of Spiritual Cramp’s own headline tour.
Spiritual Cramp released their long-awaited self-titled debut LP on November 3, 2023 via Blue Grape Music. It was produced by the band’s Michael Bingham and Michael Fenton, with additional production by Carlos de la Garza (M83, The Linda Lindas, Cherry Glazer, etc.).
