According to experts, a dedicated skin care routine can help keep your hands looking youthful.
She shared non-invasive beauty tips to rejuvenate your hands and prevent further damage.
Georgina East specialises in improving skin health at SKNfluence on Harley Street, London.
In an interview with The US Sun, she shared her tips for preventing wrinkles and blemishes on your hands.
Useful habits
East said five habits can help prevent premature aging on your hands and revitalize the skin.

“After washing your face, use a cream to lock in moisture,” she says.
She said you should also apply a moisturizer or oil at night to “deeply hydrate” while your body is in “repair mode.”
She urged people to quit smoking as it “accelerates” ageing.
Finally, she said it’s important to wear gloves whenever possible.

“Gloves can protect you from environmental damage,” she said.
“Especially when working with chemicals and detergents, or even just washing dishes.”
Beauty product purchase
East said Matisse Response Corps Youth Hand Cream SPF10 “protects and hydrates” the skin while addressing signs of aging.
“Matisse Response Corpse Youth Hand Cream SPF 10 is a lightweight hand cream that absorbs quickly into the skin, providing comfort and nourishment,” she said.
“It has three anti-aging benefits: Anti-Stain – Reduces the appearance of age spots.”
“Anti-free radicals – Protects against environmental damage.”
“Cell renewal – Promotes the renewal of skin cells.”
“Plus, SPF 10 protects your hands from the sun, leaving them soft, protected and hydrated.”
The Matis Paris Cashmere-Hand is available to purchase from the brand’s website for $42.
According to the brand, you only need to apply a small amount to allow the product to penetrate into the skin.
Skin savior
East revealed that there are a variety of salon beauty treatments available that can help reduce the look of aged skin on the hands.
“Neogen uses nitrogen plasma technology to address a variety of skin concerns, including wrinkles, fine lines and skin tightening,” she said.
“It’s a non-invasive, needle-free treatment and is suitable for all skin types.”

“The process converts nitrogen gas into plasma energy, which stimulates collagen production and tightens the skin.
“Effects can last up to a year after treatment.”
She says microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, stimulates collagen production to improve skin texture and reduce wrinkles.
A thin needle is used to create tiny micro-injuries in the skin.
“Microneedling can be combined with other treatments, such as chemical peels, to enhance the overall rejuvenating effect,” she said.
“Superficial peels target the top layer of skin (epidermis) to improve skin texture and tone and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.”
East said hand treatments take at least three months to achieve best results.
“The key to healthy, youthful-looking skin is consistency,” she added.
