Sorority leads the way in financial education for members
The Singleton Foundation has announced a partnership with Gamma Phi Beta, an international organization for financial literacy and entrepreneurship, to develop members’ financial skills and entrepreneurial mindsets — skills they need for life. Money can be complicated, and the college years are a critical time to develop strong financial skills so you can meet the challenges of life later in life.
The programs utilized by the foundation are: Million Stories an award-winning video channel dedicated to breaking the taboo of talking about money; venture valley Award-winning video games that ignite business and entrepreneurial spirit, Slingshot An AI-powered app that enables anyone to create, build, and share new businesses. groove A habit-building and learning app built on behavioral science to develop financial confidence and competence.
Gamma Phi Beta is one of: North American It is the oldest sorority and is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year. Their mission is to raise confident women of character who value sisterhood and make a difference in those around them.
