All three major beauty axes are executed by biological mechanisms acting on the dermis and epidermis, which is why SILAB conducted large-scale exploratory studies using tissue engineering and transcriptomics. Five clinical studies were conducted in a mixed-gender group of young and adult volunteers (Caucasian, Asian, Latino, and African American).
