About the author
Lori Harlan is 38 years old and has a strong background in psychology, child welfare, and counseling. She received her bachelor’s degree from Harlan Valley University and received her master’s degree in professional counseling from Liberty University. She has triplets, one identical boy and one girl. She loves writing poetry, writing, and spending time with children. Harlan, who is a lifelong Christian, believes domestic violence is a topic she strongly believes Christian women need to talk about more and learn not only how to help each other, but also how to be free from violence. She hopes this story will raise awareness of things like domestic violence, depression and signs of abuse.
