Shakira is shaking things up. The 45-year-old singer just released her new song “Te Felicito” with artist Rau Alejandro, and fans on Instagram were stunned after seeing the single’s music video.
One listener commented, “Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa streaming so many times I’ve streamed it so many times.” Plus, Shakira (and her highly sculpted abs and legs) is clearly living her best life in the video. She’s been posting sneak peeks all week ahead of the song’s release, and her #fitspo has been major.
First, there’s this bright purple cutout look.
Plus, a sheer fluffy robe that shows off Shakira’s long legs to the fullest.
Clearly, she doesn’t miss leg day. But what exactly is her workout routine? First, the singer sweats it out six days a week with her trainer Anna Kaiser. Kaiser’s signature dance and interval workouts (part of the AKT Method) help Shakira increase her endurance so she can shine on stage.
“Shakira emphasizes consistency in her workouts, including strength, cardio, stamina, power, and flexibility. all” Kaiser said. trend. The 90-minute dance interval workout combines cardio, strength training, and vinyasa flow with “almost no breaks.”
“She’ll add some flair with her hips and make some of the moves her own,” Kaiser added. “Even though it’s super intense, she’s still having fun!”
On some days, Kaiser changes Shakira’s training depending on the rehearsal schedule. “Yesterday, she had a very long dance rehearsal in the afternoon, so we focused on pure effort for one hour in the morning. [Some days] “She has even longer days of physical dance rehearsals, so we just started with something very short, 20 minutes,” she explained. Eh! news.
Strength training, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) circuits, and swimming are all great options for dance-heavy days, she added.
Diet-wise, Shakira focuses on filling her plate with lots of vegetables and plenty of protein. Breakfast might be eggs or avocado topped with tomatoes, olive oil, and sea salt. The singer then makes a smoothie packed with plant protein, berries, vegetables or green powders, Kaiser said. Eh! news.
By the time lunch rolls around, Shakira is ready to eat fish with vegetables and salad. In the late afternoon, you might sip on a cup of her soup, with artichoke, green onion, eggplant, and carrot-ginger being her favorite, combined with cucumber tossed with lemon and salt.
Dinner is hot fish and more vegetables, or her favorite main dish, pork chops. And for dessert, Shakira reaches for low-sugar dark chocolate.
Mental health is also a big part of the singer’s healthy habits. Kaiser helps Shakira become more mindful by encouraging her to put down her phone more often. “@theannakaiser rule: Turn off your phone until you’re done training!” Shakira captioned an old Instagram video.
The key is to stay focused on what’s important, Kaiser said. Eh! news: “She’s filming a new music video, she’s putting out new music, and she’s still very involved in Columbia Philanthropy School. There’s a lot going on at once.”
“And she’s a mother and she has kids and she wants to spend time with them. There just aren’t enough hours in the day. So we have to refocus. Find a way to refocus, recalibrate, and try to be in the here and now.”
Yes, you can participate in that.
