The recalling company, Factors Group of Nutritional Companies, is working with Health Canada to ensure the affected products are properly removed from the Canadian market.
In the meantime, Health Canada is urging Canadian consumers to “check if their products are affected.” Additionally, consumers should consult with their health care provider before stopping use of affected products or if they have any health concerns. It is also important to note that all side effects or complaints related to health products should be reported to Health Canada.
If you have questions about a recall, Health Canada recommends contacting the recalled company directly.
