Two new lifestyle tenants will soon be opening at Chevy Chase Land Co.’s new Chevy Chase Lake development. SEV Medical Spa and RTR Pilates Both stores are located on the first floor of The Claude apartments at 3820 Chaplin Place. Both stores have “Opening Soon” signs in their storefronts. SEV and RTR are scheduled to open this summer.
SEV Med Spa is a laser hair removal spa founded by Sevana Petrossian in Glendale, California in 2010. As word spread, Petrossian began to gain a following among celebrities in Hollywood and the Beverly Hills area. Her first celebrity clients were the Kardashians, and she was soon joined by Rita Ora, Sofia Richie, and Eva Longoria.
The Alexandrite and Nd:YAG lasers used by SEV are safe for all skin tones and have cooling features to minimize discomfort. SEV is medically certified and employs specialized nurses. Prices range from $25 for permanent moustache removal to $600 for full body hair removal.
RTR Pilates is a local fitness studio chain founded by Raina Offutt in 2006. It has grown over the past 20 years and will have six locations when Chevy Chase Lake opens this summer. They offer beginner, intermediate and advanced classes. All classes use Allegro II Reformer machines. Under Offutt’s leadership, Potomac Pilates donates more than $5,000 in services to schools, charities and organizations each year. RTR’s existing Shop at Wisconsin Place location (near Friendship Heights) has a perfect five-star rating on Google Reviews with nearly 250 reviews, which means clients are clearly happy with the results.
