Serena Williams ‘super mom’ does Pilates with baby front pack

  • Serena posted a video on Instagram of herself doing a Pilates reformer workout while wearing a baby front pack, in case you need to turn on “mommy mode.”
  • The tennis great frequently posts workouts on her Instagram, giving everyone a look at what she does behind the scenes to stay strong.

One thing you should know about Serena Williams? Despite being a super mom, she still plans to work out. Talk about discipline! The Tennis Goat recently shared a clip of herself on Instagram training with her newborn baby’s front pack strapped to her chest. Just in case you have to go back to her mother mode when the baby cries.

In an Instagram video, 42-year-old Serena perfects her Pilates reformer workout, showing off some thigh-targeting moves.

Tennis champion ICYMI and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, currently have two daughters, six-year-old Olympia and five-month-old Adria, who was born in August.But of course, that doesn’t stop Serena from making sure she stays wonderful strong. After all, lugging around two fidgety children takes a lot of stamina.

Serena is all about home workouts. She even shared a video of herself doing a yoga-based workout with her sister Venus during the 2020 lockdown.

Serena’s goals have certainly changed since she’s not competing in tennis (for now!), but she shared a breakdown of her usual training at Masterclass. It’s definitely intense, with or without a baby strapped to your chest.

Serena says her training goal was to improve her cardiovascular fitness to the point where she could play tennis for more than four hours.

“I’ve never played a game longer than four hours in my life,” she said. “And if you can hold out that long in a game, you can hold out any time.”

To prepare for this, she shared in a video that she has been doing a lot of running, cycling and dancing. This will definitely get your heart rate up! Selena also uses home training equipment from Tonal, and she is an investor in the company, which makes interactive screens with built-in resistance bands.
