President Kimo Ah Yoon appointed a search committee to identify Mr. Marquette’s first chief health officer. The committee is comprised of faculty, staff, deans, Jesuits, students, and trustees emeritus, and is chaired by Dr. Carolyn Smith, clinical associate professor of exercise science in the College of Health Sciences.
In addition to Mr. Smith, committee members include:
- Dr. Joshua Burns, Associate Professor of Theology, Klingler College of Arts and Sciences
- Dr. Elsbeth Kalenderian, Dean of Dentistry
- Kelly McShane, Trustee Emeritus, former School Psychologist, Lake County Special Education District
- Lynn Mellantine, Assistant Vice President of Human Resources
- Thirini Mendis, Klingler College of Arts and Sciences, Class of 2025
- Rev. Gregory O’Meara, SJ, President of the Marquette University Jesuit Community and Associate Professor, Marquette University School of Law
- Chris Pullman, Recreational Sports Coordinator
- Adrian Ridgway, Executive Associate Athletic Director, Intercollegiate Athletics
- Kelly Walmer, Executive Director, Marquette University Medical Clinic
- Dr. Amelia Zurcher, Professor of English, Klingler College of Arts and Sciences, Director of the University Honors Program
