DisclosureFest and Fade to Black will be hosting a Mass Meditation Initiative at Castaic Lake over the summer solstice weekend, Friday, June 21st through Sunday, June 23rd.
The event follows several others in Southern California, Washington DC and Las Vegas and will be the ninth Mass Meditation Initiative festival since 2017. The event will feature top electronic, spiritual and jam music artists, mindful speakers and workshops on health, wellness, environmental and humanitarian themes, yoga classes, sound baths, art walks with world-renowned visionary artists, vegan plant-based food and a children’s space with a variety of activities throughout the weekend.
The festival begins at 10 a.m. Friday, June 21, with yoga classes starting at 7 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Castaic Lake Lagoon, 32132 Castaic Lake Drive, Castaic, CA 91384.
The mass meditations are scheduled for Friday, June 21st and Saturday, June 22nd at 2:22pm PDT and will be livestreamed at https://disclosurefest.org/live/. During the mass meditation, everyone in the venue, expected to be approximately 10,000 people, will meditate along with an online global audience. This year’s meditation will focus our collective energy on water and its importance in sustaining life, assisting in global healing, and enacting change for humanity and the planet.
Mass meditation has numerous benefits for both individuals and society as a whole. When large groups of people come together to meditate at the same time, they generate a powerful collective energy that can have a positive impact on the environment around them.
Scientific studies have shown that mass meditation can lower crime rates, lower stress levels, and reduce the incidence of conflict around the world – this is believed to be because it synchronizes the brainwave patterns of participants, leading to a state of coherence and harmony.
Furthermore, mass meditation fosters a sense of community and mutual solidarity, promoting empathy and understanding between individuals.
