In a serene atmosphere and with a consensus to advance the women’s agenda, the 2024 Shabach Women’s Conference concluded successfully, calling on women to embrace networking and foster connections with each other to aid in their spiritual growth and development.
The conference was organised by the Prayer Palace and led by Dr Anik Ajayi and this year marked the fifth edition of the continuing programme aimed at enhancing the wellbeing of women.The climax of the conference activities culminated on Sunday, 19th May 2024 with various activities.
Dr. Anik Ajei said that the overall vision is to empower women and raise them up as champions just like men, and that this is what “our father, the founder and general overseer of the Palace of Prayer, has taught us over the years.” “This is something I have always advocated,” he said.
According to Dr. Ajay, over the years they have used the platform of this conference to discuss their areas of expertise, including discussions on family, marriage and relationships, in order to holistically develop women’s ability to survive in the 21st century. It has provided an opportunity to introduce the
Dr. Anik Adjei further hinted that as part of the care plan, they provide financial support to women in ministry, especially those whom God has blessed with children and those who have lost loved ones.
“Charity has always been part of our DNA. We have donated to orphanages and hospitals. We have also supported the poor in our church for many years,” Dr. Ajay stressed.
She said her future plans are to “strengthen our panel sessions and invite prominent women in leadership to share their experiences with women,” adding, “Our ultimate vision for Shabach is “It is both a spiritual tournament and a social occasion,” he reiterated. It is a networking hub where women can come and present their businesses at an exhibition at the church,” said Dr. Ajay.
The conference aims to equip women with the life skills they need for the future and will take advantage of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October to examine breasts to check for breast cancer status. He encouraged women to do so.
The SHABACH Women’s Conference collected items and donated them to an orphanage at the end of the conference activities.
“We visited Kingdom Dynamics Future Ghana in Kukurantomi, presented them with donations and supported them in prayer,” she said.
“We would like to take this opportunity to encourage anyone who is in charge of an orphanage and needs assistance to contact us,” Dr. Annick said.
This year’s conference brought together prominent people in the ministry, including Pastor and Mrs. Dora Takki Yarboy, Pastor and Mrs. Rita Kolankye Ankrah, and the founder of the Palace of Prayer, Prophet Emmanuel Adjei.
The Hebrew word of praise, shabach, means to loudly address, shout, praise, glorify, or declare victory. Literally, it means to let out a holy roar.
This word is used only 11 times in the Old Testament, but each time it has a powerful effect.
