Diana Moreno moved to Fort Lauderdale from Bogota, Colombia with her parents in 1999 when she was 15 years old. She tried the Herbalife product line and quickly saw results after graduating from high school at age 18, becoming an independent distributor in 2002.
Prior to opening Revolution Wellness in 2021, Moreno owned several locations near Florida’s east coast. She wanted to offer the same healthy products that helped her improve her lifestyle by losing weight, and she hasn’t looked back since.
“I moved to Sebring because Fort Lauderdale was getting too crowded during COVID and I was looking for a nicer place,” Moreno said. “So I came to Sebring knowing absolutely nothing before I came here. I stayed in a hammock, fell in love with the people there, and then fell in love with the town.”
Moreno said there was always a market for Revolution Wellness in Sebring for people looking to eat healthy, she just needed to tap into that market, and customers have been coming into her store ever since it opened.
Moreno, a distributor, only uses Herbalife products to make his shakes and other products. Even though the ingredients were provided, he had to come up with recipes, which was time-consuming.
But these recipes are versatile and allow customers to make variations on each item, with plenty of options including bubble waffles as well as the popular road tea and energy drinks.
The menu changes monthly with a different special dish, and customer feedback and customizations are sometimes incorporated into the menu.
“You have to think about what you want to deliver to your customers to make them feel really good and love your product,” Moreno says, “but you also have to be mindful of your budget because you don’t want to make an expensive drink.”
Her dream is to open another store, but that’s still a long way off.
“We would love to open one more store,” Moreno said, “that’s the goal, and of course we’d love to expand into other towns near Sebring. We’re excited about that.”
