Macaroni and cheese

This hearty side dish calls for a lot of ingredients, two of which are (yes, you guessed it) butter and cheese. But her secret addition is dry mustard. “I love adding it to my macaroni and cheese,” Ree says. “It adds a nice tang without being overly flavorful.”

Peach Teppanyaki

July is stone fruit season, and juicy peaches are in abundance. When caramelized on the grill and sprinkled with toasted pecans, they’re a truly magical treat. “If you haven’t tried it yet, grill some peaches this weekend!” says Ree. “They’re amazing and great in salads, desserts and even charcuterie!”

Strawberry sauce

“I’ve been making my own ice cream every summer for years and always serve it on the Fourth of July,” says Lee. “It’s a Drummond family tradition and I can’t imagine what it would be like if I didn’t do it one year.” Don’t let them find out! It only requires four ingredients, and of course, fresh corn, which Lee says is the secret to the dish’s richness: using a sharp knife to slice away the corn kernels and scoop out the creamy, milky goodness inside. “It’s going to be an instant classic, I guarantee it.”
