NEW DELHI: Ayurvedic supplement startup Rasayanam plans to expand its offline presence across the country and aims to touch Rs 100 crore in revenue this fiscal, company founder Ayush Agarwal said. He said this in an interview with ETRetail.
This year, the brand will mainly focus on offline sales by partnering with pharmacies and Ayurvedic doctors.
“The company has been profitable so far and we have plans to expand both our products and sales channels,” Agarwal said. Going forward, the company aims to expand its product offering with six new products this year, including a plant-based multivitamin and Chyawanprash.
While sharing about the sales and overall growth, Mr. Agarwal said that the online channel contributes to 90 per cent of the overall sales and the remaining 10 per cent comes from offline channels.

The private label further shared that its revenue for the year ended March 31, 2024 was over Rs 30 billion, exceeding the set target of Rs 25 billion.
Regarding the company’s overall investment plans, the Ayurvedic supplement brand said it plans to invest in research and development (R&D), new product launches and expansion of its manufacturing unit.
Agarwal said the health and wellness space in India is becoming increasingly competitive with the introduction of new brands, and he expects this trend to continue. Compared to last year the number of brands he increased by 70%. ”
“When Rasayanam launched in 2020 with its first product, Shilajit, there were only three other brands selling this product on Amazon, but now Shilajit is a separate category with over 100 products. ” he emphasized.
