Superstar Rajinikanth returned to Chennai on June 3 after completing his spiritual tour of Uttarakhand. A video of the actor at Chennai airport is currently going viral on social media. Last week, Rajinikanth left for Dehradun to embark on his annual spiritual tour to the Himalayas. He reportedly visited Badrinath, Kedarnath, Mahavatar Babaji caves and several other holy places during his spiritual tour.
Videos of Rajinikanth at Chennai airport show him wearing a crisp white kurta and pyjamas, with some of his fans trying to take selfies with him but being pushed away by security personnel.
He will begin shooting for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film Coolie from June 10. Rajinikanth confirmed the news in a conversation with a yogi.

In May, Rajinikanth visited the BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi and also received a Golden Visa from the Abu Dhabi government.
Later, at the Dehradun airport, he spoke about the need for spirituality. “Every year I have a new experience which has allowed me to continue my spiritual journey again and again. I believe this time too I will have a new experience. The whole world needs spirituality. It is important for every human being. Being spiritual is about experiencing peace and tranquility and fundamentally it is about having faith in God,” he explained.
On the work front, Rajinikanth has wrapped up the shooting of TJ Gunavel’s Vettaiyan, which hits theatres on October 10 during the festival of Dussehra.
