Today, while on his way to the destination, the actor was asked by media persons about his views on the outcome of the upcoming Indian Lok Sabha elections and the music vs poetry debate.
In a fitting reply, the actor smiled and asked them not to ask him any political questions. He simply said, “Ana… no comment,” and folded his hands in supplication to them.

Rajinikanth on the work front
Rajinikanth was last seen in an extended cameo role in Laal Salaam, directed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth. The sports action film also starred Vishnu Vishal and Vikrant in lead roles, but received mixed response from critics and failed to impress audiences.
Moreover, the actor recently wrapped up the shoot of his next film, Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gunavel. The film sees the superstar playing the role of a police officer and also stars an array of actors including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh and Dussehra Vijayan in key roles. The film is slated to release in October this year.
Additionally, Rajinikanth will be working with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for the first time in the upcoming film Coolie, which will mark the actor’s 171st film and feature director Sathyaraj in a key role.
