actor Rajinikanthhas embarked on a spiritual journey to the Himalayas after wrapping up the shooting of his upcoming film “Vettaiyan”. The ‘Superstar’ began his journey from Chennai and has already reached Dehradun. When asked about the journey in Chennai, he said, “I go there every year. I visit Kedarnath, Badrinath and Baba Cave. It’s a new experience every time.”
When asked whether Modi would win the Indian Lok Sabha elections, Rajinikanth replied, “No comment. No political questions please.” He also did not respond to an ongoing debate in Tamil Nadu about whether the lyrics or the music are more important in a song.

Rajinikanth was again seen in Dehradun and said, “The whole world needs spirituality. It is important for every human being. Being spiritual means experiencing peace and tranquility and fundamentally it means having faith in God.”

Recently, Rajinikanth returned from a trip to the United Arab Emirates where he was awarded a Golden Visa. During the trip, Rajinikanth also visited the BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi.
Upon returning from his Himalayan trip, Rajinikanth will begin shooting for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie. It was recently confirmed that actor Sathyaraj will join the film, with Anirudh Ravichandran composing the music. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film is the 171st instalment in the Superstar franchise.
