Proud Udonis Haslem helps raise $170,000 using health and wellness initiatives for a noble cause

Udonis Haslem has gained quite a reputation for his community involvement and philanthropy. And his recent event called The Anatomy, hosted by Health & Wellness Sanctuary, is helping him tackle both. Anatomy held its annual 1-hour push-up challenge to benefit the Udonis Haslem Foundation (UHF) and Make-A-Wish Southern Florida. And the former Miami Heat star also pitched in to help get a good result at the event.

Meanwhile, the latest information about the event was also posted on the story section of UHF’s official website. According to the website, Haslem participated in the challenge with a five-member team named “TEAM UD.” “The group raised money and did push-ups together with the goal of completing 2,000 push-ups in one hour. The goal is for each push-up to be worth at least $30.” said the story.

Notably, former NFL star Mark Megna and Miami Heat’s Duncan Robinson also attended the event. Money raised from this event will be donated to both UHF and Make-A-Wish Southern Florida.

Udonis Haslem’s active involvement in community activities

Earlier this month, Haslem also attended a fundraising event hosted by former Miami Heat icon Alonzo Mourning. The event commemorated his 20th anniversary at the Overtown Youth Center (OYC) in Miami.

Separately, Haslem’s own foundation and a virtual robot coding and curriculum competition platform called Riders.ai awarded scholarships to 250 students at 10 local high schools in Miami. The move was made in an attempt to expand robotics, coding and STEM skills among students.
