The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to win support from the public after giving a powerful speech on mental health issues and raising awareness of stigma.
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan could “significantly” improve their public image by addressing their mental health issues, an expert has claimed.
Both men have made headlines for their recent speeches about the complexities of mental health, and public relations expert Ryan McCormick said Prince Harry in particular delivered a truly moving message. The Duke of Sussex spoke at the school on Friday as part of a trip to Nigeria with Duchess Meghan.
Goldman McCormick’s Ryan said Prince Harry’s positive attitude should be fully appreciated and would be very beneficial from a PR perspective. He said: “Prince Harry’s speech is very positive and I hope it will be heard by many people. It will destigmatize mental health issues and encourage people of all heights to be affected by it. It is uplifting to share that there is no one without it.The Duke’s remarks were well received.”

Ryan also said that Meghan’s reaction to Prince Harry’s speech served as a positive boost in public attention, helping to show the world that they were united in support of a cause. He added: “Meghan probably saw Prince Harry’s reaction and thought she had nothing more to add.
“Her sunny admission to her husband shows the world that they are both on the same page on this issue. If Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan had more conversations like this and encouraged others to If we start encouraging them to take self-improvement actions, their image may improve significantly.”
Speaking at the Rights Academy in Abuja, Nigeria, Prince Harry spoke about how mental health is “still relatively poorly understood”. Harry said: “Everyone in this room, the youngest, the oldest, everyone has a mental health problem, so in order to help others we have to look after ourselves. Other people have to take care of themselves too.” So that I can take care of you. ”
Elsewhere in his speech, the Duke of Sussex said: “All of these things are completely normal. The Sussexes were invited to Nigeria by Chief of Defense Staff General Christopher Musa, who met Prince Harry at the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany, in September last year. Their invitation came after they learned Meghan was of Nigerian descent.
