The National Institute of Naturopathic Medicine (NIN), Pune, has completed 83rd Countdown day for International Yoga Day. The program will be held at the Ashramshala schoolyard opposite Nisarg Sadhana Kendra (tribal unit), an extension unit of NIN, in Gohe village, a notified tribal area in Ambegaon Tak. Pune. The program began in the morning with songs by artists from the Central Communications Authority, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government. Following the practice of Indian yoga, the practice of the Common Yoga Protocol began.
The event was attended by members of local/rural/tribal communities, including school children from Zilla Parishad primary and secondary schools, women from self-help groups, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers and people of all ages from western India. There was enthusiastic participation. Ambegaon, Pune Besides, yoga enthusiasts and practitioners of natural healing techniques also participated in the event. The event served as a platform to highlight the importance of yoga in promoting physical, mental and spiritual health for all age groups. Common yoga protocols were practiced to introduce the diverse aspects and benefits of yoga. Participants had the opportunity to work on CYP under the guidance of an experienced naturopathic physician.
Additionally, the celebration highlighted the importance of yoga in tribal communities, highlighting its role in preserving traditional knowledge, promoting overall health, and fostering a deeper connection with nature. Thanks to the active support and cooperation of the local government, volunteers and participants, this program attracted a large number of people. 870 people. The program will be presided over by Professor K. Satyalakshmi, Director of NIN. Great support provided by the Integrated Tribal Development Project of Zilla Parishad, Godegaon and Ambegaon Panchayat Samiti, Pune. Mrs. Pramila Warungi, Block Development Officer, played a key role in initiating and coordinating the initiative. The involvement of the Child Development Project Officer mobilizing Anganwadi workers, the Extension Officer mobilizing ASHA workers, and the Block Mobilization Officer responsible for the operation to West Ambegaon will ensure comprehensive community participation in this event. shows the approach.
