March 26, 2024

A North Bend police officer observed a vehicle traveling over the speed limit. The officer also noticed the driver crossing the center line before stopping. Officers observed what they believed to be the odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.

Additionally, there were signs that the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol. Following a voluntary field sobriety test, the driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DUI).

March 26, 2024

Dispatch alerted officers to a 911 problem at a North Bend motel. Officers arrived and helped the man, who appeared to be intoxicated and unable to care for himself. He was involuntarily transported to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital with the assistance of Eastside Fire Rescue.

Officers also observed a known male at the scene who had an outstanding warrant for domestic violence assault. The man was arrested and booked into Issaquah Jail.

March 27, 2024

After a crash in downtown Snoqualmie, police worked with witnesses to determine what happened. The driver was issued a citation for failure to yield and a citation for driving with a suspended license.

March 28, 2024

Troops responded to a Snoqualmie laundromat after receiving a report of a possibly intoxicated woman. She was reportedly seen throwing coins into an air duct. Upon her arrival, the woman was not making a scene, but she admitted to throwing coins into the air duct.

March 29, 2024

Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in North Bend. Neighbors reported hearing a woman’s screams and the sounds of objects being hit at the location. When they arrived, the two were arguing and something sounded off.

Officers reported there were no visible signs of abuse. The male subject returned with two active felony warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and booked into the King County Jail.

March 31, 2024

Just before 6 p.m., police were dispatched to a man who had parked his car near an elementary school, blocking a crosswalk and possibly drinking alcohol. While making contact with the man, officers observed an open container of alcohol inside the vehicle.

The man voluntarily completed a field sobriety test. He was then arrested for drunk driving and booked into Issaquah Jail.

April 1, 2024

Just before 1 a.m., units responded to an injury crash at Railroad Avenue and King Street in Snoqualmie. Investigators believed one of the drivers may be impaired. The driver agreed to submit to a voluntary field sobriety test.

The driver was then arrested for drunk driving. The Snoqualmie Police Department conducted an alcohol test on the driver and found that his alcohol level exceeded 0.08, twice the legal limit. The driver was booked into Issaquah Jail.

April 2, 2024

Officers responded to a utility pole recently after it was struck by a vehicle. Multiple callers provided relevant information that led to the identification of the driver. After officers investigated, the driver responsible was cited for a hit-and-run on an unoccupied property.

April 3, 2024

Snoqualmie Police became aware of a vehicle pursuit originating from the Bellevue Police Department after a suspect in a stolen white GMC Yukon crashed into a Bellevue police vehicle. The pursuit continued through Issaquah and into the Snoqualmie-North Bend area.

The suspect entered and exited Interstate 90 multiple times, taking wrong turns. The suspect fled onto Snoqualmie Parkway and Snoqualmie Police Department detectives were able to deploy a stop stick. The suspect crashed the vehicle into a tree on Snoqualmie Parkway at PBA Road.

The suspect fled into a maintenance shop at the Snoqualmie Ridge club. He stole a set of keys to his Forester, a black Subaru, and continued on the run from law enforcement, eventually returning to Interstate 90. The suspect got off a second time in North Bend and fled into the woods off Northeast Third Avenue and Southeast 120th Avenue. The suspect crashed the Subaru and fled toward the Snoqualmie River between Thrasher and Southeast Mount Sea Road.

The King County Sheriff’s Office K9 team safely took him into custody. The agencies involved were Bellevue, WSP, KCSO, Issaquah PD, DFWD, and Snoqualmie PD. Read the full text here.

April 4, 2024

Morning of April 4thth, police officers and Snoqualmie Mental Health Professionals (MHP) responded to the juvenile, which escalated. The boy has ongoing medical/mental health issues. The events that occurred made the case an involuntary treatment situation. The boy initially refused to be taken to the hospital.

However, the boy ultimately agreed to ride on the ambulance stretcher of his own volition due to his familiarity and the relationship he had previously established with MHP. He was then taken to Seattle Children’s Hospital for further treatment. This call highlighted the important work MHP does every day to make our communities safer and healthier.

April 11, 2024 – Traffic violation

Officers observed a yellow school bus traveling without a rear license plate attached to the rear of the vehicle. The officer initiated a traffic stop on the driver, but soon discovered the driver had a suspended license. Officers ran the VIN and discovered the vehicle’s registration expired in May 2021.
