PM Modi inaugurates Ayush projects in Pune and Jhajjar today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also scheduled to inaugurate the Central Institute of Yoga and Naturopathy, Jhajjar (Haryana), which is being built with the support of the Ministry of Yoga of India.

Ayush Project: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Gujarat on February 25 and inaugurate two Ministry of Health research institutes that will further promote holistic healthcare in India. The National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN), named “NISARG GRAM” in Pune, Maharashtra, and the Central Research Institute of Yoga and Naturopathy (CRIYN) in Jhajjar, Haryana, will be virtually opened to the public by the Prime Minister on February 25, 2024.

NISARG GRAM is a 250-bed hospital with a multi-disciplinary research and extension services centre and a naturopathic medical college for undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and para-medical courses. The college also has residential and non-residential facilities like male and female hostels, auditorium, yoga hall, cottages and the famous Gandhi Memorial also forms an integral part of the campus. The 25-acre project will cost a total of Rs 2,135.5 crore.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also inaugurate the Central Institute of Yoga and Naturopathy, Jhajjar (Haryana), built with the support of the Ministry of Health of India. It is a premier research and teaching facility for Yoga and Naturopathy. Tertiary level healthcare infrastructure for Yoga and Naturopathy will be created through the project. The institute will include a 200-bed hospital with OPD, treatment, academic, hostel and residential buildings, besides a yoga and catering building. The 19-acre project has been built at a cost of Rs 638.8 crore.

The National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN), Pune and the Central Research Institute of Yoga and Naturopathy (CRIYN), Deverkana village, Jhajjar, are important milestones in promoting holistic healthcare through traditional healthcare systems. Utilizing diverse approaches such as hydrotherapy, massage, clinical nutrition and yoga therapy, these institutes prevent and address emerging healthcare challenges, especially the increasing prevalence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). With state-of-the-art infrastructure and educational programs, these institutes empower individuals to prioritize their health and well-being.
