Prime Minister Narendra Modi completed a 45-hour meditation at the Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu on Saturday.
He was in Kanniyakumari on a religious visit. He meditated at the Dhyan Mandapam, the temple believed to be the place where revered Hindu philosopher Swami Vivekananda had a divine vision of ‘Bharat Mata.’ This coincides with the end of voting in the final phase of the Indian Lok Sabha elections.
Meanwhile, former Bihar deputy chief minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav dismissed Modi’s religious activity in Kanniyakumari as just a “photo shoot”.
