Pippa Middleton plans to open Buckleberry Farm Park Lodge for “parties, events and Pilates” after her mother Carol’s business went bankrupt.
Duchess Kate’s sister and her husband James Matthews will use their Berkshire home to host parties, events and Pilates classes.
This comes after Carole Middleton’s party business, Party Piece, entered government last year.
Pippa and James, parents of three young children, bought a 72-acre property in Berkshire in 2020 for £1.5 million.
Writing in the Mail, Richard Eden said: “Carol’s son-in-law, James Matthews, bought Buckleberry Farm in Berkshire for £1.5 million in 2020. He has now turned the lodge into a venue for parties, events and more. I heard “Pilates” is open for an event. ”
Mr Eden added: “Carole Middleton was deeply shaken by the collapse of her mail-order business, Party Piece, which went bankrupt last year.
“Fortunately, her family hasn’t completely canceled the party.”
The news was confirmed via the Instagram account @bucklebury.farm.
Alongside a photo of the lodge, the caption read: “We’re so excited to announce that you can now book The Lodge (9am to 5pm only) for birthday parties, corporate events, yoga sessions, pilates, and more.” ” was written.
The 72-acre property features a 44-acre deer park, cafe, glamping pods, and children’s play area.
Kate’s sister and parents live nearby, as well as the royal’s younger brother James Middleton, who bought a £1.45 million farmhouse in Berkshire in 2021.
Pippa, who lived in west London, moved to Berkshire with her husband and children in 2022. A short drive from her parents, Pippa and her young family currently live in a £15 million mansion.
In 2022, after living at Kensington Palace, Kate and William decided to move their young family to Windsor.
Duchess Kate, Prince William and their three children – Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 6, currently live at Adelaide Cottage.
The children have been attending Lambrook School in Berkshire since the move was made shortly before the late Queen’s death in September 2022.
