DOVER-FOXCROFT — Tuesday and Thursday Mat Pilates with Julie Mason starting Tuesday, April 16th. The one-hour class is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
DOVER-FOXCROFT — Tuesday and Thursday Mat Pilates with Julie Mason begins Tuesday, April 16th. One-hour classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8-9 a.m. and Tuesday nights from 7-8 p.m. These mat classes will move your spine in all directions, as well as work the deep muscles of your back, core, glutes, and hamstrings to help you feel energized and strong with better posture. All levels are welcome. It’s $10 per class.
Yoga/Meditation, starting Thursday, April 18th: The one-hour class will be held Thursday evenings from 6 to 7 p.m., by donation. This class will focus on stretching and practicing several standing poses while linking breath and movement. There will also be a few minutes of meditation at the end of the class. All levels welcome!
Mason has been a Master Pilates Instructor for over 20 years and is certified through the Physical Mind Institute. Mason is a Vinyasa He is also a flow yoga instructor and is certified in Harmony Yoga, where he has been teaching for 12 years. She grew up on the beaches of California, and she has two adult daughters and one grandson. She loved moving her body, so she built a career that was her passion. She tends to focus on her attunement and helping people understand their bodies, as well as encouraging her students to connect through a mind-body approach. She also enjoys dancing, being in nature, meditation, music, and spending time with her family and friends.
