The Mississippi State Department of Health held its inaugural State Employee Health Expo on Thursday at the Two Mississippi Museums in Jackson. The expo offered state employees free health screenings, cooking and fitness demonstrations, stress management exercises, CPR certification training, chair massages and featured a keynote address on prioritizing health and wellness from Dr. Justin Turner, chief medical officer for the health department. The event aimed to promote a healthier workforce across the state.
