To mark International Flight Attendant Day, Philippine Airlines offered relaxation, wellness and entertainment for more than 800 of its on-duty, reserve and training flight attendants.
The two-day event, held on May 30 and 31 at the PAL In-Flight Center (IFC), featured pampering, rejuvenation and wellness sessions that delighted flight attendants and provided a welcome break from work.
Physical activities ranging from basketball to hammer games, lively entertainment from guest hosts and a captivating performance by the PAL Cabin Services Dance Troupe rounded off the celebrations.

“The daily struggles of flight attendants Bumpson Araga “Our specially curated PAL International Flight Attendant Day celebration is our way of giving back to our key frontline workers to ensure the health and safety of our passengers. It shows how much PAL values its employees,” said Alvin Miranda, PAL vice president of marketing.
“We are grateful to the company for supporting and recognizing our dedicated frontline employees who represent PAL’s unique service brand. This event was a ‘first’ and we look forward to celebrating the day in this innovative way for years to come,” said Jerry Rustia, PAL vice president of Cabin Services.
