Billings, MontanaThe local nonprofit’s first-ever mental health challenge, “Pay Love Forward,” will conclude Saturday to coincide with North Park’s grand opening.
The month-long wellness challenge was designed to encourage people to prioritise their mental health through healthy eating, consistent exercise habits, practicing mindfulness and performing spontaneous acts of kindness.
Pay Love Forward founder Matthew Leavenworth said the wellness challenge was off to a strong start with a strong turnout.
“The Wellness Challenge was incredible, with 20 teams and about 100 participants right now competing towards the finish line. It was amazing to see the level of enthusiasm from the participants and a lot of fun,” Leavenworth emphasized.
Additionally, he revealed that the challenge will culminate with a series of fun and exciting activities for the local residents of North Park.
“We’re going to have a grizzly bear obstacle course. Eight nonprofits will come together to host separate sections of the obstacle course. We’ll have slacklining, rock climbing, knight fighting, bow and arrow – all things that are family-friendly but also challenging,” Leavenworth explained.
