To create the brand GUUD, Patrika Wellness partnered with Almond Branding, a strategic branding and design agency known for building startup brands from the ground up. GUUD’s debut product line addresses common concerns regarding white sugar consumption by offering a variety of value-added sugars. This strategic move aims to simplify healthy living and cater to individuals who want to improve their health without going to the gym or following a strict diet.
GUUD’s logo identity and design language is the letter G, which reflects the brand’s simplicity, combining a modern typeface with human elements inspired by yoga. The brand colors blue and yellow represent the driving force behind GUUD’s science and innovation, and the brighter, respectively, healthier side of life.

GUUD’s product portfolio offers a wide range of value-added sugars, from entry-level sugars fortified with Ayurvedic herbs to premium products such as diabetes-friendly sugars and future sugar substitutes and sweeteners. The brand architecture was created to differentiate the various sugar products, with names such as Dia-fit, Slim-fit and Family-fit Sugar, linking the product range while highlighting the unique characteristics of each.
GUUD’s packaging design needed to maintain a distinctive and authentic look to compete in both domestic and international markets. The main challenge was to create a package that spans multiple price points (from Popular+ to Premium). The visual architecture allowed us to maintain consistency across the product range while highlighting each product variant and effectively communicating its unique benefits.
The focus was on communicating the science and effectiveness of the product to consumers. The package included informative text presented in an infographic style that highlighted important details and addressed frequently asked questions. To capture the essence of a healthier lifestyle, the packaging depicts a person engaging in light exercise such as yoga or running.
With the launch of GUUD, Patrika Wellness has taken a significant step towards realizing its vision of becoming a leading wellness company in the Indian and international markets. The brand aims to simplify healthy living and provide superior health benefits to individuals seeking convenient and accessible solutions to stay healthy.
