Owensboro Health Family Medicine Residency Clinic will be offering two walk-in health exams this spring. The clinic plans to conduct skin cancer screenings in April and diabetes evaluations for walk-in patients in May.
Family medicine residents will be conducting free head-to-toe skin cancer screenings on April 20 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The company also plans to offer same-day biopsies to patients with lesions identified as areas of concern. The biopsy procedure will be billed to your insurance and standard co-pays will apply.
Diabetes evaluations by resident physicians will be free for the first 100 patients on May 18 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Evaluation includes a urine test and on-site testing to measure blood sugar and A1C. Results are available the same day and a diabetes educator at Owensboro Health HealthPark is available for counseling.
Both events will be held at the Owensboro Health Family Medicine Residency Clinic, located on the first floor of the Parrish Medical Building at 811 E. Parrish Avenue. No reservation required.
