The new Wa Fai Pho resort in Hoi An, Vietnam, is a technology-driven Wellness Experiences Epigenetic testing, AirPod hyperbaric chambers, and more.
The 134-room resort, which opens on September 1, will offer a variety of wellness, spa and medical options at its health facilities. It has assembled a team of doctors, nurses, healers and trainers to create tailored wellness programs for each guest who uses the center.
One of the options visitors can choose from is a health report using epigenetic testing, which analyzes hair follicles using a computer connected to a laboratory in Germany.
The report is presented in graphical form and includes information on the intestinal, circulatory and immune systems. The center’s medical consultants will explain the results to the guests.

The wellness centre also offers sessions in the AirPod hyperbaric chamber, where exposure to high concentrations of oxygen and hydrogen can slow the ageing process, improve focus and boost energy and stamina.
The facility’s infrared sauna is said to lower blood pressure, aid weight loss and flush toxins from visitors, while its electronically controlled ice bath lowers blood pressure, improves circulation, flushes toxins and reduces inflammation and swelling.
As for sleep? technologyGuests can enjoy an in-room sleep and recovery experience equipped with headsets, eye masks and special “anti-gravity” chairs to induce a meditative state of wellbeing and deep relaxation.
