A 36-year-old Nepalese woman named Aarti Hamal, the daughter of a Nepalese mayor, has been reported missing in Goa, according to her father. Aarti, who practices Osho’s meditation routine, had been in Goa for several months, but she was last seen on Monday night.
According to reports, Aarti was last seen near Ashvem Bridge around 9:30 pm on Monday. According to Nepali newspaper Himalayan Times, she was an active participant in the Osho meditation center during her stay in Goa.
Gopal Hamal, mayor of Dhangadi sub-metropolis, turned to social media for help in finding his eldest daughter. He said Aarti’s disappearance was reported to her family by one of her friends.
Gopal tweeted, “My eldest daughter Aarti, an Osho meditation practitioner, has been living in Goa for some time now. However, we have been informed by her friend that since yesterday she has been working with Aarti Zorba Vibes. We have been informed that Ashwem Breeze has been unable to be contacted. We ask all residents of Goa to help us find his daughter Aarti.”
He added, “Additionally, my younger daughter Arzoo and son-in-law will be flying to Goa tonight to help in the search for my eldest daughter Aarti.” Ms Gopal also shared three contact numbers on social media for anyone with information regarding her daughter’s whereabouts.
“Please contact us at 9794096014/8273538132/9389607953 to provide any assistance needed to find our daughter,” he wrote to X.
Accordingly, the Goa Police launched a search operation after receiving a missing persons report.
