NCCAOM Take NCCAOM’s job analysis survey. We encourage all certified acupuncturists and herbalists to participate in the 2024 JTA survey.
Once you complete the survey, you can receive up to 12 professional development activity (PDA) credits in the core recertification category. Three PDA credits will be awarded for each completed exam section of the survey. If you complete the entire survey, you will receive 12 PDA credits. PDA points for completing the JTA survey will be distributed within four weeks of the survey end date of April 21, 2024.
All survey participants who complete the survey will also be entered into a random prize drawing that will be announced on the NCCAOM website and social media channels.
Participation in this effort will be invaluable in defining the outline of NCCAOM exam content from an introductory to a practical level. The data collected is essential for the evaluation and advancement of the acupuncture and herbal medicine professions by government agencies, employers, and other institutions.
The professions of acupuncture and herbal medicine, like most medical professions, require overall standardization (consistency, processes, and procedures) at the national level. The process of standardization will improve the level of competency and safety not only state-wide or locally, but nationally as well.
