Dr Kim Furtado, along with health coach partners Katie Pugh and Sydney Dawson, are launching a new program aimed at a more hands-on approach.
After 23 years in practice, Furtado has listened to the needs of his patients and used that feedback to create the Full Circle program, which combines naturopathic consultations with one-on-one health coaching sessions. This six-month comprehensive program is perfect for clients looking to treat chronic illness through lifestyle medicine and receive personalized support to find the root cause of their illness.
Naturopathic medicine is based on the healing power of nature and seeks to restore function to the body, mind, and spirit through treatments that enhance the body’s innate healing abilities. The addition of health coaching is Furtado’s in-depth health assessment and treatment, using evidence-based skillful conversations, clinical interventions, and strategies to actively engage clients in effective health and lifestyle changes. It will help you carry out your plan.
The program provides education on a variety of health topics, including nutrition, sleep hygiene, stress management, environmental toxins, and physical activity. Coaches guide clients through the difficult process of changing habits. Our goal is to provide our clients with the information and empowerment to create sustainable, healthier, and happier lifestyles.
Furtado holds a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington, and a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Biology from George Washington University in Washington, DC. She has been in private practice in Delaware since 2001.
Katy Pugh is a former nurse and certified health coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, where she learned coaching methodologies, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories.
Sydney Dawson is a certified Life and Grief Coach and is currently pursuing additional certifications through the Health Coach Institute. This multi-generational team offers a wide range of holistic health perspectives and a highly compassionate approach to wellness.
Consulting and coaching sessions are primarily conducted virtually, with limited in-person accommodation availability in the Lewes area.
