According to Ayush experts in Hyderabad, autologous blood therapy is a process in which blood is taken from the veins and reintroduced into the muscles in the form of an injectable solution.
The injection triggers a small inflammatory response that acts like a wound. This causes tissues to release inflammatory proteins and activate the immune system. During this process, foreign proteins in the blood are processed by the body’s immune system.
“These alternative treatments have not been properly considered in India, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic when many people were suffering from weakened immune systems. Presented by National Institute of Naturopathy, Pune Unfortunately, there isn’t a lot of support for such treatments,” says Dr. Vyakaranam Nageshwar, a senior pulmonologist and allergist.
While defining Ozona therapy, NIN Pune says: “Modern lifestyle introduces large amounts of chemicals, toxic and unavoidable metals into the body through polluted air, contaminated water and food.
Ozone helps speed healing time and reduce morbidity, helping patients and clinicians address a number of non-communicable and infectious diseases. ”
These therapies derived from natural medicine could serve as adjuvants, i.e., additional treatment options to existing treatments for blood clots and other major diseases related to the body’s immunity.
“Unfortunately, the Ayush sector has been reluctant to consider the possibility of offering such treatments to the masses. We also need to be wary of charlatans who are always on the lookout for tricks,” Dr. Nageshwar points out.
