A beauty expert shares an inexpensive technique to instantly smooth out skin and wrinkles.
She added that her skincare tips can help make your skin more radiant and reduce fine lines.
Jordan Harper, a registered nurse, extolled the anti-aging benefits of dermaplaning and oil planing.
Dermaplaning is a cosmetic treatment in which dead skin cells and peach fuzz are removed with a scalpel or shaved.
Oil planing, or oil shaving, is a method of removing dead skin cells and peach fuzz from the face using oil-based products and a facial razor.
“Dermaplaning/oil planing has many benefits!” said Harper.
“It removes dull skin cells and peach fuzz, smoothes skin texture, increases the absorption of skin care products, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and provides a smoother canvas for makeup and SPF application.
“After shaving, your skin will instantly feel smoother and more radiant, making it easier to absorb subsequent skin care products.
Harper, founder of skincare brand Barefaced, revealed the most common mistakes people make when using a dermaplaner for the first time.
“Shave for dry skin! That’s why I created Perfectionist, the first-in-class facial and shaving oil for women.
