A woman shared some skin care wisdom she learned from someone with years of experience with her daughter.
She explained that all it takes to transform her daughter’s skin is two must-have kitchen ingredients.
Reddit user Lelabear shared some anti-aging beauty tips in a post.
“My daughter met an older woman (ID required) who had the most beautiful skin and asked her how she kept her skin so youthful,” she said.
A kind stranger told me her secret is sugar and plain yogurt.
She explained that she took the skin care advice to heart and decided to give her daughter a try with the homemade treatment.
“My daughter tried the sugar scrub followed by yogurt (cold cream, right?) with great results,” she said.
“When she saw the woman again, she thanked her, and the woman was surprised that she had actually tried it.”
The stranger explained that even though her technique is relatively cheap and simple, most people don’t believe it works.

According to Healthline, yogurt has a variety of skin care benefits, including moisturizing and boosting UV protection.
Not only do yogurt masks lock in moisture, but a 2011 study suggests they may also improve skin elasticity and brighten the skin.
“As we age, our skin naturally loses collagen, a type of protein that gives it elasticity,” Healthline explains.
