A beauty expert has unveiled a handy home gadget that reduces the signs of aging without cosmetic injections.

She said the gadget increases collagen production while minimizing age spots and wrinkles for more youthful-looking skin.

Isabeau van Maastricht is International Content & Campaigns Manager at aesthetics company Silk’n.

She told the US Sun that there are many anti-aging options for people over 35 that don’t involve surgery or fillers.

Lifestyle changes

According to Healthline, your skin begins to change in your 20s, even if it’s not noticeable.

Experts recommend developing good sleep habits, limiting alcohol intake, and eating a nutritious diet to reduce visible symptoms.

“Wrinkles are part of the aging process,” Maastricht says.

“These lines and wrinkles are most likely to appear on the face, neck, hands, and forearms.

“This is because these areas are often exposed to the sun.

“Another reason for speeding up the natural aging process is smoking and pollutants.

“So if you want to prevent wrinkles, you should use sunscreen every day and stop smoking.

“But if you’re really concerned about wrinkles, there are many options to smooth them out or make them less noticeable, and you don’t need surgery or fillers.”

Botox alternative therapy

The beauty expert said that while the effects of LED light therapy on the skin may seem “incredibly good,” there is scientific research to back up the claims.

“LED lights stimulate collagen,” she said. “Collagen is a necessary protein found in the body that contributes to skin health.

“As we age, collagen production decreases, so LED lights encourage the body to produce more protein.

Combine LED light therapy with skin care products such as serums

“In addition to reducing wrinkles, LED light therapy can minimize skin discoloration and age spots, improve complexion, and improve skin tone and texture.

“The increase in collagen and elastin creates more youthful-looking skin.”

Maastricht said continued use of the LED light therapy device is required to see results.

According to Medical News Today, red light is natural and can penetrate deep into the skin and be absorbed by cells.

LED light therapy does not contain ultraviolet light and is therefore safe to use on a regular basis.

Red LED light can be used to reduce signs of aging, improve scarring, and reduce skin irritation.

“Home LED light therapy devices are becoming increasingly popular, and for good reason: they are a non-invasive and powerful solution to signs of aging such as wrinkles,” Maastricht said. Ta.

“If you’re looking for an affordable anti-aging solution, choose Silk’n LED face masks, which help reduce wrinkles and achieve youthful, glowing skin.

“Our tip: Add LED light therapy to your skin care routine and pair it with skin care products like serums to speed up the process.”

Silk’n Facial LED Mask 100 LED is available from Look Fantastic for $207.

Users can choose one specific color for targeted treatment or choose an automatic mode that takes advantage of all the different settings.

Customers give it a 4-star rating and share their honest opinions in their reviews.

“This has become a staple in my skincare routine,” said one.

“Not only was there a reduction in oil content, but fine lines were also significantly reduced.

“I need regular recharging, especially since it seems to be part of my husband’s skin care routine.”

“A friend gifted me this and I can safely say I saw a difference in my skin after just 4 uses,” said another.

“They aren’t very comfortable, but the sessions are quick so it’s worth it.

“The price is not exorbitant and it gives you an excuse to sit around and do nothing while brightening and tightening your skin.

“I will be recommending this to everyone I know. It’s a must-have.”

Dermatologist-approved anti-aging tips

Dermatologist Dr. Brendan Camp shared some dermatologist-approved tips with the US Sun.
