MoU: MoU signed between CCRAS and CIM&H | Chennai News

CHENNAI: The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences-Captain Srinivasa Murthy Central Ayurvedic Research Institute (CCRAS-CSMCARI) on Saturday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Council of Medicine and Homoeopathy (CIM&H), Arumbakkam. State Health Minister M Subramanian and Health Secretary Gagan Deep Singh attended the event held at Kalaniyar Centenary Multispecialty Hospital, Guindy. The MoU paves the way for a collaborative framework for testing services, imparting training and executing joint projects on “research studies for standardisation and evaluation of toxicity tests for preparations of certain higher order medicines”. Prof Ravinarayan Acharya, chairman of the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences, said, “This MoU between CCRAS and CIM&H will set a precedent for other states in India and other states can also collaborate with CCRAS and MoAyush for various research and development activities.”
