St Pat’s third annual Student Wellness Fair was a huge success, with over 800 students visiting the school library throughout the day. Organised by the Student Wellness Committee, the event aimed to raise awareness of the range of wellbeing supports available within the St Pat’s community and from external agencies.
This year, the Student Health Committee partnered with 12 outside agencies to provide students with diverse resources and support systems. These agencies shared different ways they provide health support and helped teens navigate the challenges they face.
Four booths were provided by St Pat’s students themselves, showcasing the various opportunities within the school for students to get involved in. These booths demonstrated the positive impact that participation can have on students’ wellbeing and encouraged their peers to become more actively involved in the school community.
Megan Woodward’s business class played a key role in running the fair, showcasing the power of partnerships within the school. The event has become one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the school year and is eagerly looked forward to by students.
“We are already planning for next year,” said a representative from the Student Wellness Committee. “Students really look forward to this event every year and it’s great to see such enthusiastic participation and involvement.”
The Student Wellness Fair continues to grow, fostering a supportive environment for St. Patrick’s students and highlighting the importance of wellness in everyday life.
