Welcome to the City’s Mental Health Task Force webpage: Communities that Caring. The following web pages, audio/video resources, and downloadable information are intended for distribution to residents of municipal departments and communities in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The taskforce is a city-led initiative with the common goal of making mental health ‘everyone’s job’. It creates a forum for discussion and a place to coordinate collective action.
The Mental Health Task Force will help local authorities identify priority actions and explore support to improve quality and accessibility for people with mental health problems.
The task force is headed by Portugal Cove St. Paul’s Councilor Tina Neary. Phillips receives administrative support from the municipalities of Newfoundland and Labrador.
